A Word from our Spokesperson

As someone who suffers from multiple sclerosis and in response to the invitation from Christiane St-Germain and Michel Beaudoin, the founders of this wonderful project, I am extremely proud to accept to serve as spokesperson for the Résidence du Carré Royal in Sorel-Tracy. When I visited the Résidence's facilities, I was able to witness, first-hand, all the energy and passion that Christiane, Michel and all the other contributors devote to this project of caring for the well-being of people afflicted with this illness, including the well-being of their families. It is a true haven of tranquility that will surely bring relief from those bouts of depression that all too often plague multiple sclerosis sufferers.

I only wish that similar residences would be founded in Quebec, Canada and other parts of the world, because the number of multiple sclerosis patients is continually on the rise, and there would be the additional benefit of offering some much-needed respite to their caregivers who would be comforted to see their loved ones recuperating in such a unique living environment.

My congratulations to the entire team and a big thank you from all the women and men afflicted with multiple sclerosis.
