Qi Gong exercise
Qi Gong (pronounced "Tchi Kong") is a discipline of traditional Chinese medicine, a treatment method that has been practiced for over 5,000 years. The two words Qi and Gong respectively mean “energy” and “accomplishment”; thus the full term means “mastery of inner energy”.
Qi Gong’s objective consists of harmonizing the energy in one’s organism. Thanks to this “unconventional” therapeutic technique, the patient can fortify, increase and stabilize his/her inner energy by doing exercises specific to each function. Considered as a preventive action, Qi Gong, when practiced on a regular basis, increases flexibility, body tone, balance and concentration, and improves sleep.
